Peer Advisory Groups
In Depth Learning Opportunities
Peer Advisory Groups (PAG) are small groups of about 8-10 members, who confidentially explore family business subjects of mutual interest. The goal of the PAGs is to provide a committed group of peer resources to:
-
Learn from shared experiences
-
Effect change for individuals and their families over time
-
Provide accountability and feedback
-
Define issues of importance for each member
-
Provide indivdual feedback and coaching on difficult family issues
Structure
-
No two individuals from the same family can be in the same group, and competitors are never placed in the same group.
-
Groups meet 8-10 times a year for 3-4 hours per meeting (except the PAG for Shareholders not working for the business, which meets quarterly).
-
Meeting times and locations are agreed upon by members of the groups.
-
Professional facilitators from the Family Business Center at Loyola moderate these groups.
All interested individuals will be matched with a group of their peers. Participation for the first family member is included in the Family Business Center membership dues. Additional family members may participate for $1,000 per person per year.
Current Groups Include:
Large Company CEOs
Small Company CEOs
