Dial the correct Audix Voicemail Access Number for your campus.

1. If you are at your extension number, you can press the pound (#) sign. If you are NOT at your extension, enter your extension, followed by the pound (# sign).
2. Enter your temporary password
   Enter (1), followed by the pound (#) sign.
3. Record your name
   Press 1, clearly speak your first and last name and then press 1 again to stop recording. Press pound (#) to approve the recording or press 1 to re-record.
4. Create a new password.
   Passwords must be at least 7 digits long. Choose your new personal password, follow by the pound (#) sign. Re-enter to verify your new password, followed by the pound (#) sign:
5. Record a personal greeting.
   Callers will hear this recording when you don't answer. For example, "This is Brenda Smith. Please leave your name, number, and a detailed message, and I'll return your call as soon as possible.

Retrieving and forwarding messages

To retrieve messages:

1. Dial voicemail access number.
2. Enter your extension number, followed by the pound (#) sign.
3. Enter your password, followed by the pound (#) sign.
4. Select "Get Messages" (2)
5. Press 0 (zero) to listen to messages
6. To delete the message, press *3

To forward messages:

1. Dial voicemail access number.
2. Enter your extension number, followed by the pound (#) sign.
3. Enter your password, followed by the pound (#) sign.
4. Select "Get Messages" (2)
5. Press 0 to listen to messages
6. Select "Forward with Comment" (2)
7. Enter extension where forwarded message should go and press #
8. Press # to send forwarded message

To create or change a personal greeting:

1. Dial voicemail access number.
2. Enter your extension number, followed by the pound (#) sign.
3. Enter your password, followed by the pound (#) sign.
4. Select "Administer Personal Greetings" (3)
5. Select "Create, Change, or Delete Greeting" (1)
6. Enter the greeting number that you would like to create or change.
7. Record your new greeting by selecting 1
8. After recording, press 1 again, then 2,3 to play back the newly recorded message
9. Select # to accept change or *3 to delete the change

Changing your password:

Access voice mail and log in using your extension or mailbox number and password. From the main menu dial 5 and then 4 to change your password.

Changing your spoken name:

Access voice mail and log in using your extension and password. From the main menu, dial 5 and then 5 again to change your spoken name. After the tone, speak your name. Press 1 to re-record or # to accept the change. Audix will then take you back to the main menu.
