Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) Degree
Loyola's School of Law offers this special master's degree for non-attorney professionals in the fields of business, education or health. This graduate-level degree helps students increase their understanding of legal issues so they can support such professional responsibilities as interpreting regulations, managing risk, negotiating contracts and overseeing compliance.
Although the M.J. degree may, in some cases, provide new career opportunities, it is specifically not intended to prepare its graduates for the practice of law.
