Tara R. Shewchuk
Biography
Tara R. Shewchuk is the Director, Ethics and Compliance (PPD) for the Office of Ethics and Compliance at Abbott Laboratories. She previously worked as the Vice President, Compliance for Resurrection Health Care. Prior to joining Resurrection, Ms. Shewchuk served as the Director of Legal Affairs, Risk Management and Corporate Compliance for St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago and as a senior health policy analyst for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Ms. Shewchuk holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg, a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University in Montreal and a Master of Laws from Loyola University Chicago's Institute for Health Law. She also served as a research fellow at the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics.
