Student Nurses Association of Illinois at Loyola (SNAI-L)


SNAI-L is a pre professional organization, a constituent of the National Student Nurses Association. SNAI-L membership is open all nursing students at Loyola University Chicago. The mission of SNAI-L is to facilitate promotion and participation in community affairs and activities concerning improved health care and the resolution of related social issues. SNAI-L also addresses professional issues, remains active in community service, and provides opportunities for attendance at the state (SNAI) and national (NSNA) conventions. Finally, SNAI-L plans and implements programs and activities at Loyola with the goal of building community among nursing students and the student body at Loyola University Chicago.  


Graduate Student Nurses Association (GSNA)

GSNA provides a focus for student sponsored activities within the graduate programs in nursing. Officers are elected by the students for each academic year. A faculty advisor assists the students in coordinating their activities with the School and the University. The GSNA is an important source of student information. DNP students are also strongly urged to join this organization.
