IMAP for the Iphone
While this tutorial is specifically for Apple's iPhone, the process is similar for most phones. If you are still having difficulty receiving your Loyola email to your phone, do not hesitate to contact ResNet for personal assitance with your phone.
For students wishing to receive their Loyola GroupWise email on their iPhones, the process is simply a matter of entering in Loyola’s IMAP email settings. To accomplish this, simply go to the settings button:

Click on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”
In the “Mail, Contacts, Calendar” settings, select “Add Account…”

When presented with the list of email types, select “Other”

This will initiate the “New Account” screen.

Using Loyola's provided IMAP settings (found here: http://www.luc.edu/its/email_imap.shtml) enter your information.
In the "Name" field, enter your name. In the "Address" and "Description" fields, enter your Loyola email address.

Enter information for the Incoming Mail Server. In the "Host Name" field, enter Loyola's IMAP server, "imaps.luc.edu". Enter your Loyola UVID in the "User Name" field, and your Loyola password into the "Password" field.
Do the same for the Outgoing Mail Server, with the exception of the "Host Name" field. AT&T's outgoing mail
server is "cwmx.com".
Once you have entered this information, hit “Save” and the phone will attempt to verify the connection. This may take a few minutes, but you should be able to receive and send (on campus) email right from your phone!
