Campus Safety is the official Lost and Found for the University.  There are two locations where items are kept depending on which campus the item was turned in at. Items lost at the LSC are brought to the LSC Campus Safety office.  Items lost at the WTC are brought to the 25. E Pearson Desk.

If you have lost an item

If you have lost an item, try to think where it was lost.  If it was lost on one of Loyola’s campuses, there is a chance it was turned into Campus Safety.  You can call or visit either location to determine if something has been turned in.

Lost and found items are held for six months.  If they have not been claimed within six months, they will be donated to various charities.

If you have found an item

If you have found an item on one of Loyola’s campuses, you can bring it to either of the lost and found locations.

   Contacting owners of found property

If an item is turned into Campus Safety and we are able to identify the owner, an email is sent to that person’s @luc.edu email address.  Examples of this are ID’s, items with the person’s name written on them, laptops, etc.

   Other lost and found

There are places and buildings on campus that have their own unofficial lost and found.  Examples of this would be the libraries, dining halls, student unions.  If you lost an item in one of these locations, it is advised that you check there first.
