Advanced Standing Program
About
The MSW Advanced Standing is an accelerated option available to only those students who graduated from a BSW program at a CSWE accredited school within the last 4 years. In order to qualify, students must have maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA overall and a 3.25 overall in BSW courses.
Length of Program
Full Time - 10 Months
Part Time - 2 years
Application Information
Advanced Standing begins every Summer in July. We have no application deadlines for advanced standing; however, our priority scholarship deadline is March 1st. Application requirements and instructions can be found by clicking here.
Degree Requirements
The MSW Advanced Standing program requires completion of 34 credit hours which includes one internship. The internship is 720 hours or 3 days per week.
Curriculum
Students are able to choose a specialization area from one of the following – children and families, mental health, health, schools, or leadership and development.
