Dual Degree - M.S.W. & M.A.

About
This program allows for an emphasis on the feminist perspective, combining psycho-social and political-historical understandings of women and gender as it has impacted society. This degree is offered with the Graduate School of Loyola University Chicago.

Full Time - 3 years
 
Application Information
This program begins every Spring or Fall term.  Applicants for the dual M.S.W./M.A. degree should apply for admission to the programs using one application, indicating their intent to pursue the dual degree.
 
Degree Requirements
The MSW program requires completion of 60 credit hours which includes two internships.  The 1st internship is 480 hours and the 2nd internship is 720 hours for a total of 1200 internship hours.
 
Curriculum
The MSW program is broken down into foundation level classes and advanced practice classes.  Foundation level courses are required by everyone.  Advanced Practice classes are taken according to specialization area and electives.
