Vehicle Rental
The Loyola University Transportation Department provides vehicles available for rental by qualified, licensed drivers possessing Loyola University Chicago identification. A Vehicle Rental Form (VRF) must be filled out at least 72 hours prior to the requested reservation date. In addition to the information provided below, further information on rates and procedures is available by contacting Free Enterprise System, Inc. at: 708.474.7474. Charges are per day, per mile, plus parking and tolls.

Cancellations
Any vehicle reservation that has been confirmed with a notice must be canceled in writing 72 hours prior to vehicle pick-up or you will incur a cancellation penalty of $65 per van.
Authorization to Travel
In order to be authorized to travel, VRF must be completed.

Note:
- Vehicles and keys must be returned at the end of each reservation.
- Not returning vehicle or keys promptly will result in a $50.00 fee and possible loss of rental privileges.
- A key drop box is located outside the parking office window inside the parking structure.

Authorized Drivers
Drivers must have a reservation confirmation, must possess valid Loyola University Chicago identification, and a United States driver's license at time of vehicle pickup. International driver's licenses are not accepted.
Drivers also must successfully complete an online Driver Safety Course in order to rent a van. A certificate of completion from the course and a confirmation e-mail of your registration must be presented to the Parking Office prior to picking up the van keys. Please call the parking office prior to picking up the keys.

Driver Certification
The VRF requires a driver's certification. By signing for the vehicle and noting the state and expiration date of the operator's license, the driver certifies:
- Possession of a valid United States driver's license
- Only approved drivers, who meet all requirements, are authorized to drive the vehicle
- The vehicle will be used only for approved university business
- The vehicle will be driven in accordance with state & local laws and regulations, and in a courteous manner that represents Loyola University Chicago.
- Drivers who do not comply with the rules listed on this page will be reported to Human Resources or Student Affairs.
Pick Up Times
For instructions, and to arrange a time to pick up keys, please call the parking office at: 773.508.7036.
Pick-up times are: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday. The office is closed Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday; for weekend rentals please pick up the keys Saturday before noon.
Note: Transportation office hours are adjusted around university holidays. Please call early if your departure time is near an official university holiday.
