OpEd Project: Application Deadline Extended

Dear colleagues,

As you may recall, we contacted you a few weeks ago to inform you of the "OpEd Project," a new initiative this year at Loyola funded by the 2020 Strategic Plan. We have extended the deadline for submissions for this first cohort to December 2, 2016 at 5 pm.  Please read below for more information and strongly consider submitting and making your voice heard.

Sponsored by Loyola's Strategic Plan 2020 and supported by the Provost's Office and the Faculty Center for Ignatian Pedagogy, Loyola University faculty and directors will have the opportunity to be a part of a national initiative launched in collaboration with leading universities and foundations to dramatically increase the public impact of our nation’s brilliant but underrepresented thinkers.  Over the course of three months, the program provides extraordinary resources, access, and support, including cutting edge game-based and research-driven programming, as well as access to a prestigious network of participants at peer institutions nationwide.   The main goal is to send new ideas out into the world—not only to celebrate the participating thought leaders, but also to impact society by imparting innovative ideas and education.

This opportunity is open to all full-time faculty and center/program Directors. Applications are accepted through email only; printed applications or letters will not be accepted. Please email your application to facultycenter@luc.edu by Friday, 12/2 by 5 pm Central time.

Questions?  See http://luc.edu/fcip/opedproject/ for FAQ, a link to the application, critical dates for participation, and general information, or email the facultycenter@luc.edu with any other inquiries.
