Scholarships
In the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS), we recognize that tuition cost is a major factor in the decision to return to college and finish your degree. Due to the generosity of various donors, foundations and grants, SCPS is able to offer numerous scholarships and awards to support returning college students. Most awards are determined based on academic performance and demonstrated financial need.
Award opportunities and amounts will vary from semester to semester and may be applied toward tuition only. Most scholarship opportunities are renewable; however students must apply each semester. Award recipients are required to send a letter of acknowledgement to each scholarship foundation, donor, or scholarship trustee.

Where Do I Begin?
Fill out the FAFSA. Most types of assistance (aid, grants, and scholarships) require the completion of this form. Submit your FAFSA as early as possible - even if you have not completed the application for admission. For the most up to date information, see http://www.luc.edu/finaid/steps_file_FAFSA.shtml.
Explore the Financial Aid Office. Financial assistance is an individual process, and the OSFA has everything you need to navigate the options best for you. Once you have completed your FAFSA, contact OSFA to learn your next steps, to check the status of your FAFSA or awards, and/or to speak with a counselor. OSFA can be contacted at 773-508-7704.
Take advantage of SCPS resources. Please review the Scholarship information on this page for complete details regarding these opportunities.
Review billing/reimbursement options. Billing options are available to students receiving reimbursement from their employers. Students can also arrange for deferred billing. An installment plan may make tuition payments more affordable, by spreading payments over a period of months. To explore your options, visit the Office of the Bursar.
Loyola has maintained a long practice of supporting the educational goals of "non-traditional" students. We invite you to visit our downtown Chicago Campus to learn more about our adult education courses.
