Applied Studies BA with Paralegal Studies Certificate
The BA in Applied Studies with a concentration in Paralegal Studies is comprised of 120 credit hours: 51 credit hours in the major, 24 credit hours in Paralegal Certificate concentration, the 48 credit hours of University Core Requirements and 21 credit hours of Electives.

V. Certificate in Paralegal Studies (24 credit hours)
Students also have the opportunity to earn a Certificate in Paralegal Studies as a part of degree completion. The following guidelines must be met before paralegal certificate courses are taken:
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 with a minimum of 12 Loyola hours completed
- Within 44 hours of degree completion
- A minimum of two completed courses total from the following:
- Any Literary Knowledge and Experience course
- ENGL 310 Business and Professional Writing - At least three CPST-titled courses completed
- An interview with the director of the Institute for Paralegal Studies
