Increase your gift and increase its power
Many employers offer matching programs for charitable giving. These matching programs can dramatically increase the power of your gift. Matching gifts can increase your gift by a ratio of 1:1, 2:1, or even 3:1.

Gift Designations
Most organizations that participate in gift matching follow the original designation of the gift.
Please note, however, that some companies and institutions do have restrictions regarding gift designations. Some matching gift programs only match gifts given to unrestricted funds, such as Loyola University Chicago's annual giving fund. Other companies do not match gifts made to athletic or fraternal organizations.
Please contact your employer's human resources department for more information on the restrictions at your place of work.
Giving Society Membership
Matching gifts generally do not go toward qualification for membership in our many giving societies. The exceptions are the Leadership Society of the Stritch School of Medicine and the Founders' Circle. Please contact Jessica Bassis, annual giving officer, for more information.
