Academic Advising provides advising services to freshmen and sophomore students enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences and Schools of Business Administration, Education, Nursing and Social Work.
We also serve Juniors and Transfer students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
All other students should contact their Dean's Office for advising.
Schedule an appointment to:
- Complete a probation contract or probation follow-up
- Complete an exit interview (if you are withdrawing from Loyola for a semester or longer)
- Complete your freshman mandatory advising requirement
- Discuss auditing a class or taking it pass/fail
- Discuss course selection for next semester
- Discuss summer school
- Get transfer/AP or IB credit evaluated
- Plan for study abroad
- Review major, minor and Core requirements
- Work on a four-year plan
