Probation Guide

Students on academic probation for Spring Semester must meet with an academic advisor, or contact their school's Dean's Office. Check the following for appropriate next steps for your college or school:

College of Arts and Sciences
First-year students, sophomores, juniors and transfer students in the College of Arts and Sciences who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester must meet with their academic advisor in the Office of Academic Advising and Services before Friday, January 26, to complete a probation contract. Students can schedule a "probation contract" meeting through LOCUS (click on "Schedule an advising appt."), or they may meet with their academic advisor during walk-in advising hours to complete a probation contract.

Seniors and other students with 90+ credit hours earned in the College of Arts & Sciences who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester should contact the College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Office for advising information.

School of Business Administration
First-year students and sophomores in the School of Business Administration who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester must meet with their academic advisor in the Office of Academic Advising and Services before Friday, January 26, to complete a probation contract. Students can schedule a "probation contract" meeting through LOCUS (click on "Schedule an advising appt."), or they may meet with their academic advisor during walk-in advising hours to complete a probation contract.

Juniors, seniors and transfer students in the School of Business Administration who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester should contact the School of Business Administration Dean's Office for advising information.

School of Education
All students in the School of Education who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester should contact the School of Education Dean's Office for advising information.

School of Nursing
All students in the School of Nursing who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester should contact the School of Nursing Dean's Office for advising information.

School of Social Work
First-year students and sophomores in the School of Social Work who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester must meet with their academic advisor in the Office of Academic Advising and Services before Friday, January 26, to complete a probation contract. Students can schedule a "probation contract" meeting through LOCUS (click on "Schedule an advising appt."), or they may meet with their academic advisor during walk-in advising hours to complete a probation contract.

Juniors, seniors and transfer students in the School of Social Work who have been placed on academic probation for Spring Semester should contact Jeanne Sokolec, Director of the B.S.W. Program.
