Each year, hundreds of Loyola students, staff and faculty join together in the Chicago AIDS Run and Walk.  This year, the Center for Community Service and Action look to continue this long-standing tradition in an effort to live Loyola’s commitment to service and justice.  Please consider joining Team Loyola as we look forward to another successful year in support of AIDS Foundation of Chicago

Loyola AIDS Run and Walk

Event:  5K Run, 10K Run, 5K Walk

Date: Saturday, September 28, 2013

Location: Soldier Field - Chicago, IL

Beneficiary: AIDS Foundation of Chicago

Registration Fee: $15 for students (undergraduate and graduate) -- please note that this is a reduced fee thanks to a subsidy by Loyola

Loyola AIDS Run and Walk is a great philanthropic opportunity for clubs, organizations, and even for friends.

   

T-Shirts

Four hundred T-shirts will be available for members of Team Loyola.  Ths shirts will be distributed on a first-come first-serve basis.

The mission of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago is to lead the fight against HIV/AIDS and improve the lives of people affected by the epidemic.

Founded in 1985 by community activists and physicians, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is a local and national leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS. AFC collaborates with community organizations to develop and improve HIV/AIDS services; funds and coordinates prevention, care, and public education projects; and champions effective, compassionate HIV/AIDS policy.  AFC’s mission is to lead the fight against HIV/AIDS and improve the lives of people affected by the epidemic.
