The Missing Peace:
Artists Consider the Dalai Lama at the Loyola University Museum of Art

October 28 - January 15:
This highly anticipated exhibition opens to the public at the Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA) on Saturday, October 28. On Friday, October 27, noted scholar Dr. Robert A.F. Thurman will discuss learning from the Dalai Lama. Thurman is the Jey Tsong Khapa Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies in the Department of Religion at Columbia University, president of the Tibet House U.S. and the president of the American Institute of Buddhist Studies. The lecture will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Kasbeer Hall, 15th Floor, 25 E. Pearson, and will be followed by a viewing of the exhibition. This event is free but reservations are required.
