John Davy, MA (ABD) is a graduate student in the Department of Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago, specializing in Psychological Anthropology and Culture and Mental Health. John’s dissertation research is an ethnographic study of Evangelical Christian marriage in the Midwestern United States, focusing on sex, gender, spirituality and religious counseling. Other interests include person-centered anthropological methodologies, clinical psychology, and the cultural psychology of emotional development throughout the life course.
