Paul S. Breidenbach received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Dr. Breidenbach is a cultural anthropologist who has conducted research on a Christian/African healing movement in Ghana (West Africa). Recently he has conducted fieldwork in Chicago video arcades. His interests include investigating ritual as a communicative event, the technology of communications and cultural change, culture and television, and the visual representation of cultures.
