AP Physics C: Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism (Combined) Workshop
July 8-12, 2013
This workshop is designed for new and experienced AP Physics C teachers. Workshop participants will obtain experience in curriculum development, laboratory operations and multimedia to enhance their AP Physics C Mechanics and E&M courses. Participants will learn how to construct and conduct AP physics labs to maximize efficiency during laboratory time, practice grading sample AP questions from recent exams, and discuss pedagogy for challenging content areas. Sources and search procedures for obtaining multimedia materials for all aspects of the AP course will be presented. Optional breakout sessions will be available for participants who want to discuss content for Physics B courses as well, and some lab materials will be available for B teachers. Information related to the new AP Physics 1 and 2 courses will also be presented. Maximum capacity 24. (Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am - noon.)
