Rare Book Collection

The Loyola Libraries' collection of 12,600+ rare books is housed in the Archives and Special Collections department at Cudahy Library. The collection reflects the liberal arts foundation of Loyola and is strongest in the areas of Philosophy; Religion; History and Geography; and Language and Literature. Other areas of strength include the Social Sciences; Science; and Fine Arts. Included in the collection are the

Volumes from the rare book collection are non-circulating and must be used in the Archives and Special Collections reading room.
