The Rev. Raymond C. Baumhart, S.J., Residence Hall and Terry Student Center, a $51 million, 25-story high-rise on Loyola's Water Tower Campus, opened in Fall 2006.

Located at 26 E. Pearson St., the building is named after Father Baumhart, a past president of Loyola University Chicago. The Terry Student Center, which occupies the first three floors, was dedicated in memory of Gregory and Rosalind Terry, children of John (BS 1959) and Terese (BS 1959) Terry.

One of several new and renovated facilities at Loyola's dynamic Water Tower Campus, this new structure enables Loyola graduate, professional and undergraduate student residents to:

  • Experience contemporary living in fully furnished apartments with spectacular city views.
  • Live in the heart of the city at Pearson and Wabash, two blocks west of Chicago's Magnificent Mile, and steps from CTA bus and el stops.
  • Walk across the street to the Loyola Law Center and Law Library, Graduate School of Business, University Library and classrooms, and Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA)
