Loyola University Chicago is the 1st school in the US with a license to sell biodiesel. A majority of our fuel helps fuel the university's shuttle bus service. However, during the summer months (June-August) we do have a limited supply of 100% biodiesel (B100) available for sale to the general public. Biodiesel sales are by appointment only (check back for possible regular hours). Contact Us to inquire.

Loyola’s Biodiesel Program has developed a mobile biodiesel processor for high school education. This equipment showcases the entire process of converting used cooking oil into biodiesel on a self contained cart approximately the size of a wagon. We saw a need to easily provide hands-on, experiential, science learning in the high school classroom.

The staff at Loyola's Biodiesel Program have helped design and built more than a dozen different biodiesel processors for hobbyists, small businesses, schools, and non-profits. We specialize in small-scale, homebuilt processors that require minimal initial investment.
