M.S. in Biology
![]() |
Loyola's broad-based Master of Science (M.S.) in Biology degree program allows students to explore and develop skills in any of the major areas of contemporary life sciences. Our M.S. in Biology program provides excellent preparation for a wide variety of jobs or for further graduate education. Students take classes, perform research, write and defend a Thesis. The M.S. in Biology degree takes 2 to 3 years to complete. |
Our faculty members are well-respected leaders in their fields and publish extensively. They also attract a significant amount of external grant support which allows them to pursue research projects that are at the forefront of modern biology. Students receive individual attention as they pursue their own research and work toward their master's degree. Welcome from the Biology Chair and M.S. Program Director
