Meal Plans
The Campus Card Office works in conjunction with Residence Life and Dining Services to provide the meal plans for those students living in residence halls. When a student signs a housing contract, he/she indicates a particular meal plan. Students may choose the plan that best fits their needs. Students can use the meal plan at Cyber Cafe, Damen Hall Express, Information Commons Cafe, Lakeshore Dining, Market 820, Rambler Room, Simpson Dining, South Side Market, Terry Center Coffee Bar, Terry Center Food Court, and Union Station.
When selecting a meal plan, students should consider the lowest meal plan option available to them. At the start of the term, if a student decides that he/she is using the meal plan more than originally expected, he/she may then submit a Meal Plan Change Form to increase to a greater plan.

Board Plans:
Please note: Board Meal Plans can only be used at Lakeshore Dining, Simpson Dining, and the Water Tower facilities upon special request.
The Platinum -- $1862.50*
19 meals/week plus $200 Flex Dollars
Designed for those who like three meals a day, this plan provides the student with all 19 meals offered: breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday - Friday, brunch and dinner on weekends. In addition, you receive $200 in Flex Dollars per semester. This plan is available to all students.
The Gold -- $1805*
14 meals/week plus $200 Flex Dollars
This plan is for those who are more likely to eat only 14 traditional meals per week. The plan is supplemented with $200 in Flex Dollars per semester. This plan is available to all students.
The Silver -- $1740*
10 meals/week plus $200 Flex Dollars
This plan offers 10 meals per week with $200 in Flex Dollars per semester. This plan is available only to sophomores, juniors, or senior residents, and all non-residents.
The meal allowance gives a student the opportunity to enjoy all-you-care-to-eat dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the specified dining locations. Each student receives a specified number of guaranteed meals per week each semester, based on the plan selected. Each time a student eats in a specified dining room, one meal is subtracted from his/her weekly meal balance.
Meals that are not used do not carry over from week to week. The Meal Plan Week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.
Flex Dollars:
All of the board dining plans offer Flex Dollars which provides a student with the ability to purchase from any Loyola University Chicago dining area including the campus convenience stores (Damen Hall Express, Information Commons Cafe, South Side Market, or Union Station) and Water Tower Campus locations (Cyber Cafe, Market 820, Terry Center Coffee Bar, and the Terry Center Food Court).
Declining Balance Plans:
Declining Balance Meal Plans can be used at any of the dining facilities on campus.
The 1400 ($1400/semester)
Designed for students who rely on the dining facilities as their primary source of dining throughout the semester. This plan is available to sophomores, juniors, or senior residents, and all non-residents.
The 1175 ($1175/semester)
Designed for students who are likely to eat at the dining facilities on a regular basis, but not exclusively. This plan is available only to sophomores, juniors or senior residents, and all non-residents.
The 625 ($625/semester)
Designed for students who would like to eat at the dining facilities on occasion, but will primarily rely on outside meals. This plan is available only to sophomores, juniors or senior residents, and all non-residents.

Flex Dollars and Declining Balance carry over from semester to semester, but not year to year.
Rambler Bucks are not the same as flex dollars or declining balance.
