The Campus Card Office works in conjunction with the Department of Residence Life and Dining Services to provide meal plans for those students living in residence halls. When a student signs a housing contract, he/she indicates a particular meal plan. Students should choose the plan that best fits their needs. Students can use the meal plan at Center Stage Cafe, Cyber Cafe, Information Commons Cafe, Lakeshore Dining, Rambler Room, Simpson Dining, South Side Market, Terry Center Food Court, and Union Station.
When selecting a meal plan, students should consider the lowest meal plan option available to them. Until the end of the first week of classes, a student may submit a Meal Plan Change Request Form.
Flex Dollars and declining balance carry over from semester to semester, but not academic year to academic year.
Students should choose the meal plan that best fits their lifestyle from the following list of meal plans and rates for the 2011-2012 academic year:

The meal allowance gives a student the opportunity to enjoy all-you-care-to-eat dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the specified dining locations. Each student receives a specified number of guaranteed meals per week each semester, based on the plan selected. Each time a student eats in a specified dining room, one meal is subtracted from his/her weekly meal balance.
The Meal Plan Week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. Meals not used do not carry over from week to week.
All of the board dining plans offer Flex Dollars which provide students with the ability to make purchases from any Loyola University Chicago dining facilities. |
