Every Wednesday, Campus Ministry hold Taize Prayer during the fall and spring semesters at 9:30 p.m. in Madonna della Strada Chapel.
Taizé Prayer is filled with song, scripture and silent meditation. It is based on the Liturgy of the Hours evening prayer and is modeled on the style as practiced in the Taizé Community in France. The sanctuary is candlelit the music is repetitive and chant-like. Those who attend regularly find a profound peace and tranquility in this style of prayer.
Over Spring Break, Campus Ministry also sponsors a pilgrimage to the Taize community in France.
For more information about the Pilgrimage or to participate musically in weekly Taize, contact Steven Betancourt, Director of Music.
