Catherine was born in the beautiful state of New Jersey where she lived until moving to Philadelphia to attend Saint Joseph's University. At Saint Joe's Catherine studied Sociology and Spanish, and fell in love with Ignatian Spirituality and Jesuit education. After graduating in 2011 Catherine was placed in Scranton, PA through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps as a youth minister for two parishes. Catherine then enrolled in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps: Northwest in 2012 where she taught religion and spirituality in Omak, WA at Paschal Sherman Indian School on Colville Indian Reservation. Catherine moved out to Chicago to study clinical social work at Loyola where she is specializing in work with children and families. When she isn't working in Campus Ministry with the retreat program, Catherine enjoys writing, going to concerts, and improv shows around the city.
