Graduate Assistant-First Year Ministry
Diana is a graduate assistant who works closely alongside April Gutierrez with the Loyola Companions program and will be directing the Women's Retreat in the second semester.
Originally from Indianapolis, IN, Diana, moved to Chicago in 2004. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Theology and then proceeded to work for a couple of non-profits. She then moved to Cleveland to live in a L'Arche community before returning to Chicago for a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling. Diana was recently married in September 2013.
In addition to working in Campus Ministry, Diana, is an intern at NorthShore Hospice offering bereavement counseling to those who have lost a loved one. In her personal life, Diana enjoys praying the rosary, singing, baking bread, biking, and frequenting farmer's markets. She plans to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela with her partner in May 2014.
