Description:
For many students a Ramble Outdoors trip is one of the best experiences during their first year at Loyola and after four years it is still one of the most memorable. Begin your Loyola experience by making friends while taking a risk and going on a wilderness canoe trip of a lifetime. If you are an eager first time paddler ready for a challenge or a seasoned wilderness veteran hoping to hone your paddling skill, this trip is for you. Your time will be spent paddling through wilderness, learning essential outdoor living skills and cooking gourmet backcountry meals, all while living in a sustainable way. While the river is mostly slow moving and calm, expect short whitewater sections to challenge your new skills. Begin your time at Loyola with a CHALLENGE that will give you confidence to take on your next big adventure, college! Please download the pre-trip information sheet for more information.
“I loved my trip and would love to recommend this to anyone who is looking to try to make friends that will probably last all through college and possibly beyond."
“The trip was really well thought out and planned and really changed my life for the better.”
“I loved that we all went into the trip as complete strangers and left feeling like we were a family.”
