Intramural Sports

Spring 2013

The Intramural Sports program at the Loyola University Chicago is structured to provide students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive and recreational sports activities. Intramural Sports features short term, on-campus competition in traditional and non-traditional sports such as flag football, soccer, dodgeball, and corn hole.

All team intramural sports include leagues for men, women, and co-rec (men and women playing on the same team). You may only play and sign up on one team per league (ex. you can play on one men's team and one co-rec team, but not on two men's teams).

Registration Information

Registration for intramural sports now takes place on line. Be sure to register early, as leagues are on a first come, first serve basis. You will see the times there are available to play online. Most seasons are 2-4 weeks long, with your team playing the same day each week until playoffs.

Only the captain for each team needs to register. The remaining team members will be added at the game site for each sport. Please ensure that all teammates are only playing on one team per league (example: on one men's team and one co-rec team, where men and women play together).

Don't have a team or enough people for a team? Don't worry, we can help. Please fill out the Free Agent Form located in the Intramural Forms link, fill it out and turn it into the Halas Recreation Center. We will work to place you on a team. If you want to play with a friend, please include that on the form.

Questions regarding Intramural Sports should be directed to Megan Morris, Coordinator of Intramural and Club Sports, at or 773-508-2615.
