Group Fitness

Located on the third floor of the Terry Student Center, the WTC Fitness Studio featuring the latest cardio equipment (including 4 bike, 4 ellipticals and 4 treadmills, each with interactive workout screens), group fitness classes, as well as locker room and shower facilities.

Special Hours for Easter Weekend: 
April 18: CLOSED (Good Friday) 
April 19: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. 
April 20: CLOSED (Easter Sunday) 
There will be no Group Fitness classes

The space is free for Baumhart Hall residents. Fee-based memberships are available for Loyola faculty and staff on the Water Tower Campus, as well as graduate students.  All Group Fitness classes are free to members. 

A photo ID is required in order to enter the space.

Yoga mats are provided.  Participants are welcome to bring their own. 

Class Descriptions

Guns, Buns, & Abs: This class is dedicated to helping you tone your hips, thighs, and abs.  No cardio is included in this total body toner! 
Body Sculpt: Ready to shake up your normal lifting routine?  This class is designed to help you tone your body from head to toe!
Yoga: This yoga class focuses on building strength, relaxation, and deep stretching as participants flow from one pose to the next for a complete yoga practice. 
Pilates: Pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates, this exercise method focuses on the posturnal muscles of the abdomen and lower back, while providing a total body workout. 
Zumba: Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away.  Ditch the work-out, join the Party!
