Faculty-Staff Permits

The Faculty/Staff Permit Application is now available online.

You must be current faculty/staff eligible* for payroll deductions in order to apply.

*adjunct faculty, contractors and float pool staff members are ineligible for payroll deductions, please visit our office for other permit options.

New delivery options including interoffice mail and restart permit.

Applying/Re-Applying for a Faculty/Staff Permit

  1. Click on this link to order a permit.
  2. Log in using your Loyola username and password.
  3. Click on Order a Permit.
  4. Read - and agree to - the Terms and Conditions.
  5. Select the permit you wish to apply for. WTC permits are temporarily sold out, so please join the waiting list.
  6. Enter the date you want to start access and deductions.
  7. Enter your vehicle information. You may register up to two vehicles.
  8. Enter the delivery option:
    1. You can have the permit sent to you via interoffice mail.
    2. You can elect to pick it up at our office.
    3. If you are restarting a permit, then choose this option.
  9. If you are electing to have the permit mailed to you via interoffice mail, enter the office number in the street address. You can prefill some fields by clicking on Use this contact.
  10. Complete the process by hitting the Complete Checkout button.
  11. Your payroll deductions will begin once we process the application.
  12. You will be receiving an email from our office shortly after we are able to process your request.

Stopping Your Parking/Deductions

  1. Go to this link and login with your Loyola username and password
  2. Click on your permit # or permit type. If you do not see your current permit, then contact Campus Transportation.
  3. In the "Faculty/Staff Permit Termination Request" comment box, please state the date you want to end payroll deductions and parking access. Permits cannot be expired retroactively. 
  4. Click on the "Request Expiration" button to complete the process.
  5. We cannot hold spaces for Water Tower Campus parkers.
  6. After we have processed your request, you can log back in and see that your permit has expired. Terminations are processed during normal business hours 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Please note this can take at least one business day to process. Terminations are not processed on weekends or holidays. 
  7. You will be receiving an email from our office shortly after we are able to process your request.

Restarting a Permit/Deductions

  1. Simply re-apply. Choose restart from the delivery options.
  2. When we process the request your garage access will automatically be restored.
  3. You will be receiving an email from our office shortly after we are able to process your request.
  4. Water Tower Campus applicants will go back on the waiting list.

Adding or Removing a Vehicle from your Permit

  1. Go to this link and login with your Loyola username and password
  2. Click on your permit # or permit type. If you do not see your current permit, then contact Campus Transportation.
  3. Click on Vehicle Change request tab.
  4. Remove any vehicle no longer needed. You must keep at least one vehicle on the permit. For any additions, the license plate number is needed.
  5. If you are changing information about a vehicle (e.g. plates), then click on the edit tab.
  6. If this is an additional vehicle, stop by our offices to get a sticker. You may have up to two vehicles on the permit.
  7. After we have processed your request, you can log back in and see that the information has changed. Please note this can take at least one business day to process.

Faculty/Staff Permit General Information

  • Purchasing a Loyola University Vehicle Permit allows you to park conveniently on campus.
  • Permits do not guarantee a parking spot. All parking is on a first come, first served basis.
  • Please note that the Main Parking Structure usually fills up by 10 a.m. during the school year. If you arrive on campus later in the day go directly to the Fordham Garage. Campus Map
  • Faculty/Staff permits do NOT include overnight parking in the Main, Fordham or Lawson lots at any time.
  • Lake Shore Campus faculty/staff can park overnight in the West Loyola Lot
  • Water Tower Campus parking includes parking at the Lake Shore Campus garages.

Faculty/Staff Lot Upkeep Fees

You must be a current full time Loyola faculty member or staff member in order to apply online.

If you are adjunct faculty, float pool staff or a contractor please visit the Campus Transportation Office to apply. 

*These rates also includes parking at the Lake Shore Campus Parking Facilities.

Exit the Main Parking Structure. At the light turn right onto Sheridan Rd. Follow the curve of the road. Turn west on W. Arthur Ave. Turn right on N. Glenwood Ave. Turn right on W. Loyola Ave. The lot is located on the left (north) side directly next to the El tracks.
