Career Development Center Advisors believe that considering what to do with one’s life involves much more than landing a job, and are ready to assist you regardless of where you are in this process. Career Advisors help students to:
- Assess individual interests, skills, and values
- Research the career potential of academic majors
- Develop networking and interviewing techniques (e.g. LinkedIn profile coaching & mock interviews)
- Connect with potential employers, internships, and other professional development opportunities.
In order to provide focused support for each school, department, or interdisciplinary program within the University, the Career Development Center uses a liaison advising model. Learn more about your Career Advisor here. One-on-one appointments (in-person, via phone or Skype) are available to all current students and alumni.* To schedule an appointment, please call us at 773.508.7716 or visit us during walk-in hours.
Career development does not look the same for everyone! However, the Career Development Center has developed a road-map. Check out our Four Year Plan to learn how the Center can support undergraduates throughout their Loyola experience.
*Students and alumni of the School of Law, Stritch School of Medicine, and the Quinlan School of Business should use their school’s dedicated career services office.
