Chicago Area Law School Consortium

The Chicago Area Law School Consortium consists of the six Chicago area law schools (Chicago-Kent, DePaul, John Marshall, Loyola, Northwestern, and the University of Chicago) as well as five additional schools from the surrounding areas (Northern Illinois University, Notre Dame, Southern Illinois University, the University of Illinois, and Valparaiso).

Together the Chicago Area Law School Consortium organizes several annual events for students and employers including those detailed below.

MPILCC: MIDWEST PUBLIC INTEREST LAW CAREER CONFERENCE
The Midwest Public Interest Law Career Conference enables employers from public interest and government organizations and J.D. students to gather for a day of interviews and informal networking. MPILCC is held each February at Northwestern University School of Law.

PUBLIC INTEREST ORGANIZATIONS RECEPTION
Loyola University Chicago hosts CALSC's Public Interest Organizations Reception each November. This event enables students to meet and network with representatives from various public interest and government agencies from the Chicagoland area.

PRACTICE TRACKS
CALSC's Practice Tracks program brings together practitioners from various legal practice areas for an informal table talk event. Law students from CALSC schools are invited to make the rounds and speak with practicing attorneys from the represented practice areas.
