Job fairs are valuable networking and job search tools. They allow you to research a career and network with a variety of employers. This first meeting can lead to an invitation to interview for an internship or position. To make a good first impression, come prepared. The Career Development Center sponsors fairs throughout the year, and disseminates information about job fairs and other career-related events occuring in the Chicago area.

Fall 2009 Community Services and Job Opportunities Fair
Wednesday, September 2, 2009
1:00 - 4:00 P.M.
Joseph Gentile Center, Lake Shore Campus
Hosted jointly by the Career Development Center, the Center for Experiential Learning, and University Ministry, this fair will give Loyola students exposure to a variety of opportunities, both on and off campus. The fair is free to all Loyola students and there is no pre-registration necessary. Professional attire is encouraged.
The fair participants represent community organizations, employers, and Loyola University Departments. There is no fee for employers to have a table at this event.

The Fall Career Fair will feature organizations recruiting for full-time employment and spring internships in a variety of settings. We anticipate participants from the corporate, non-profit, and government sectors looking for students in all disciplines and majors. Loyola alumni are also encouraged to attend.
