Mock Interviews
A mock interview is your chance to practice interviewing. Get someone whose feedback you trust to ask you questions, and give the answer you would if you were really applying for the job. Once the mock interview is complete, discuss your interviewing strengths and weaknesses and brainstorm ways to strengthen your weaknesses.
Career Center Mock Interviews
The Career Development Center regularly schedules mock interviews with real employers. The employers ask real interview questions and give you professional feedback about your interviewing skills so you can improve your performance in future interviews. May I participate in mock interviews even if I'm not a senior?
Yes. This is great practice for your interview for an internship or just to get a feel for what an interview is like.
Can I sign up for more than one mock interview?
No, you are limited to one. There are a limited number of mock interview sessions, so we want to make sure that as many students as possible can benefit from them.
What if I'm not interested in the companies conducting interviews?
The companies conducting mock interviews are skilled interviewers. Participating in a mock interview will be good practice for you regardless of your interest in the company.
