New! Hiring Our Heroes Career Fair Video
Hiring Our Heros Career Fair Video Loyola's School of Continuing and Professional Studies partnered with the Career Development Center, the Illinois Comptrollers office, Illinois Department of Employment Security, and DOL-VETS to bring the U.S. Chamber of Commerces Hiring our Heroes, a free employment fair for veterans with over 90 employers committed to hiring Veterans, Active Duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses. Over 50 vets were hired the spot; others with interviews and job leads.

Feds Hire Vets is your single site for Federal employment information for Veterans, transitioning military service members, their families, and Federal hiring officials.
- Hiring our Heroes - U.S. Chamber of Commerce - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce sponsores numerous Hiring our Heroes job fairs throughout the U.S. This site lists upcoming fairs, as well as a job site for veterans and their spouses, military skills translator, resume builder and posting, veteran network, and other tools to help the transition from military to civilian life.
- Job-Hunt's Veteran's Job Search and Transition Resource Center - Excellent hub of articles, tips, career advice, job site and resource links, this is a great starting point for anyone transitioning from military to civilian employment.

Associations and Employer Resources
- Military Officers of America Association - MOAA is the nation's largest and most influential association of military officers. It is an independent, nonprofit, politically nonpartisan organization.
- National Veteran-Owned Business Association - Unites current and future veteran-owned businesses by acting as the national voice for the veteran business movement. There are currently three million veteran-owned businesses in the United States. NaVOBA works to convince corporate America and the government to consider using veteran-owned businesses as preferred vendors.
- ESGR(Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve - Department of Defense (DoD) organization that promotes cooperation and understanding between Reserve component members and their civilian employers and assists in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment. Includes a list of employers who go above and beyond in support of their military employees.
Education

- Fund for Veteran's Education - The Fund for Veterans’ Education was established to provide scholarships to veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who served in Afghanistan or Iraq since September 11, 2001 and who are now enrolled in college or vocational-technical school.
Disabled Veterans
- Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program - The Wounded Warrior Program was established to create fellowships that provide employment opportunities within the House of Representatives. The fellowships will provide veterans with experience and exposure to ultimately broaden their scope of transition opportunities. Positions are available in Congressional Member district offices nationwide. Wherever possible, those selected for the program will be given the opportunity to transition into full-time employment. However, full-time employment is not guaranteed at the conclusion of the two-year fellowship.
- Veterans Transition Services, Inc. - Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business, VTS, Inc. is a partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs providing disabled veterans, separating, and retiring military personnel with comprehensive free transition serices, career evaluation, career and academic planning, and business startup.

- Mesothelioma Today/Veterans- Veterans can develop mesothelioma as a result of asbestos exposure during their military service.
- Make The Connection - Public awareness campaign by the VA aimed at helping Veterans overcome and seek treatment for mental health conditions, including VA approved treatment and support resources, video testimonials from fellow Veterans, and information on how to recognize conditions and seek treatment.
