Political Science professor Molly M. Melin receives grant

Congratulations to Molly M. Melin, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, for receiving her fourth, and largest, grant from the Folke Bernadotte Academy in Sweden to fund the project The Networks of Conflict Management. Professor Melin studies conflict management, 3rd party resolutions, and analyzes the networks of individuals, organizations, and governments that form these relationships. The grant itself will be applied in part to help engage and support Loyola students in the study and involvement of these internationally entwined relationships. The Folke Bernadotte Academy’s mission is dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of international peace intervention. Please visit the faculty page of the Department of Political Science to review Professor Melin’s background and the Folke Bernadotte Academy to learn more about this work.
