Research Interests:

Disconnection between language and culture: Iranian English textbooks. The purpose of this study is to clarify dominant perspectives on language learning in the English textbooks in Iran. This analysis is based on the relationship between culture and language in learning a Second Language. Strengths and limitations of the connection between culture and language will be discussed.


International Experience:

Lived in Iran, Traveled to Singapore, Malaysia, & Greece, and have been in the U.S. since 1996.
