Director's Welcome

Welcome to the Center for Catholic School Effectiveness (CCSE) in the School of Education, Loyola University Chicago.  We hope that you will explore our web site to learn more about us and our work.

Since CCSE's founding in August, 2003, we have been working hard to become a "go to place" in Catholic education nationally for school effectiveness coaching, professional development, and research.

In collaboration with Catholic educators at all levels, CCSE is working to:

• Empower school staff and enhance school capacity to meet the needs of 21st century students
• Challenge Catholic schools to stay on the cutting-edge by bridging theory and practice in the context of Catholic school identity and mission
• Serve as a national voice for Catholic school effectiveness
• Lead efforts to articulate, measure, and enhance Catholic school effectiveness

We are deeply appreciative of the dedication to students and commitment to excellence of tens of thousands of Catholic school educators across the country.  We are grateful to the School of Education and Loyola University Chicago for making it possible for CCSE to offer programs, services, and research to assist Catholic schools in continuing 21st century effectiveness.
