Transit

Airports

Chicago is home to two major airports: Midway International Airport and O'Hare International Airport.  If you are flying, you will most likely be landing on one of these two airports.

Taxis & Chicago Transit Authority (CTA)

Transportation in Chicago is abundant and full of options.  The two most visitor-friendly modes are taxis and the trains and buses of the CTA.  At times, outside of heavy traffic, taxi is faster than CTA, but more expensive, ranging from $35 to $50 one way, whereas a CTA ride from the airport to Loyola is no more than $5, yet takes about 45 to 75 minutes.  Please visit www.transitchicago.com for CTA information, and www.google.com/maps for route information and directions.  Please note that you must purchase a CTA card upon arrival at the airports to use CTA transit.  The best address to use for taxi is 1125 West Loyola Avenue, which is the Centennial Forum building address.  The Damen Student Center is located directly behind Centennial Forum, a very short distance away from the road.

Parking

If you will have a vehicle with you during the conference, please email CDE2014@luc.edu to request parking.
