Aggeliki Gikas, B.A., is the Administrative Assistant for the Center for the Human Rights of Children at Loyola University Chicago. She received her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008. Following graduation, she was accepted to the University of Peloponnese at Kalamata, Greece for a summer semester, where she studied Ancient Histories and Modern Greek Language with visiting professors and lecturers from various universities throughout Europe.
Children and youth are an important area of focus in Aggeliki’s life. She is committed to supporting and protecting the virtues of the future, which is of paramount importance and a priceless endeavor in today's environment. She is honored to be a member of an esteemed team specifically committed to the human rights of children, and finds it a very challenging and rewarding opportunity.
