ChildRight NY Project

The  CHRC was provided an award by the International Organization for Adolescents through the Office of Children and Family Services of New York to support the ChildRight: New York Project. The projects seeks to a) address systemic gaps in knowledge, policies, and procedures around child trafficking responses, b) Identify and respond to a greater number of child trafficking victims, and c) Build capacity of child welfare organizations (private and government) to integrate child trafficking into mission and mandate. The CHRC is working with IOFA to assess change in knowledge and beliefs about child trafficking by training participants, as well as to create the first validated instrument to screen for child labor and sex trafficking.
