Legal Services Assessment Survey

The Center for the Human Rights of Children, with support from the Chicago Bar Foundation, is conducting a preliminary assessment of the legal needs of, and available services for, child trafficking survivors. We invite you to participate in this study by completing on online survey. Your input will directly contribute to efforts to improve legal services and protections for child trafficking survivors in Cook County, and ultimately improve overall protections and advance the well-being and outcomes for all child trafficking survivors in the United States.

Ideally, all responses should be accurate, based on data gathered from documents and/or consultations with others at your organization. It is estimated that completing the survey will take approximately 25-45 minutes. However, if you have limited time to respond, and do not have all relevant documentation, we ask that you still complete the survey as accurately as possible, but note whenever you respond using estimates. This information will still be valuable to us.

If your organization provides legal services to children, we ask that you complete the survey, even if you have not provided any services to trafficked children. You will skip the majority of items at the beginning of the survey, and will be asked to provide your perceptions of this particular population’s legal needs, based upon encounters with them, and any interest in providing such services.

If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Linda Rio Reichmann at lindarr@comcast.net. If you have any technical difficulties with the survey program, please contact Catherine Lee at clee5@luc.edu.
