Assistant Professor in Dartmouth College's Faculty of Science (Hanover, New Hampshire) in the Environmental Studies Program. He is also director of Dartmouth's Climate Justice Research Project.
Dorsey was a recipient of Rotary International's highest honor, the Paul Harris Medal for Distinguished Service to Humanity. In 2000 he was nominated for the Ford Foundation's Leadership for a Changing World Award. In 2011, Dorsey was presented the Dartmouth College Social Justice Award for "Ongoing Commitment.
