Graduate Instructions – Day of Ceremony

Graduates should arrive already dressed in their cap and gown at the Halas Center 2nd Floor Gym between 8:30 – 9:30 A.M., absolutely no later than 9:30 A.M. No guests will be allowed into Halas. Guests should proceed directly to the Gentile Center.

Upon arriving at Halas, graduates will be given a name and seating card.  Keep this card with you at all times during the ceremony. It is essential and you will use it to find your assigned seat and also carry it on stage for the correct announcement of your name. Also in Halas, candidates may claim Guest Tickets and honors medallions, if not picked-up previously.

Purses and other items should be given to family members to hold during the ceremony, since there will be no area to store these items, nor will you return to the same seat after crossing the stage.

Graduates must be in their assigned seat in the Gentile Center by 9:30 A.M. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 A.M.
