Academic Apparel
ALL degree candidates who plan to participate in their graduation ceremony must wear academic apparel that is purchased through the Grad Fair or University Bookstore.
Advise the Bookstore personnel of your school and your degree and they will help ensure that you receive the appropriate gown, hood (if applicable) and tassel color.
The cost of apparel is based on the level of your degree:
Undergraduate cap, gown and tassel: $41
Graduate cap, gown, hood and tassel: $70
Doctoral robe, hood, tam (Rental): $159

Rental Academic Apparel Pick-up
Ph.D., Ed.D., and Law graduates
Faculty, Speakers and Marshals
The deadline for renting Ph.D., Ed.D and Faculty academic apparel has been extended until 5:00pm on Monday, April 7th.
All rental academic apparel may be picked up on the 2nd floor of the Halas Center on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, May 7: 4 - 6:30pm
Thursday, May 8: 10am to 6pm
Friday, May 9: 8:30am – 7pm
Saturday, May 10: 8:30am – 7pm
Saturday, May 17: 9am – 1pm (School of Law)
