Eligibility to Participate
Because there is only one Commencement ceremony per year, students are eligible to participate in the May 2013 Commencement ceremony if any of the following apply:
- Received an MA or MDiv degree in August 2012 and DID NOT participate in the May 2012 ceremony
- Received an M.A. or M.Div. in December 2012
- Completed all master's degree requirements by May 11, 2013, at 5 p.m.
- Have one remaining requirement for a master's degree (e.g., one course and/or a project) and plan to complete this requirement during Summer 2013 (students in this category must have their graduate program director confirm to the IPS registrar by April 30 that they will complete the requirement during Summer 2013)*
*Students finishing their studies in the summer may participate in the May 2013 ceremony, but their degrees will be formally conferred as of August 2013, after they have completed all degree requirements. For more information on graduation and diplomas, visit Registration & Records.
